Using Ice Fishnote
These Terms of Use apply to the Android app Ice Fishnote (package com.alburnum.pith) and its support website. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app and website. If you cannot legally agree to these terms yourself, use them only with a parent or guardian’s involvement.
What the app does
Ice Fishnote is a personal record-keeping tool with savings goals, manual entries, charts, planning estimates, a fishing activity and educational Safety Lab scenarios. It does not hold money, make payments, access bank accounts, provide loans or offer financial, investment, legal or professional security advice.
Balances reflect your entries. A goal balance is not a bank balance. Currency selections change labels without converting amounts. Plans and finish dates assume future manual contributions and are estimates, not promises of a result.
Fishing catches are virtual collectibles. They have no cash value and do not change savings records. Safety Lab scores describe your answers and do not certify that a device or account is secure.
Your responsibilities
Use the app and website lawfully. Do not interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access or use support channels to send harmful material. You are responsible for the accuracy of entries, decisions based on them and the security of your device.
Keep an independent copy of records you need. Review the contents and destination before exporting or sharing. Core features work offline; external links need internet access and a browser. Connectivity and device costs are your responsibility.
Your records and privacy
You retain your rights in information you enter. Local app records are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No app account is required. The app does not operate a cloud recovery or synchronization service.
Clearing data, uninstalling, losing a device or a storage failure may cause records to be lost. Android backup behavior depends on your system settings. CSV exports cannot be imported as an app restore file. Deletion inside the app does not delete previously exported files or guarantee removal of system backups.
App content and third parties
The app’s design, software and original learning content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Subject to these terms and applicable store rules, you may use the app for personal purposes. Rights granted by law, including applicable rights concerning interoperability, remain unaffected.
External learning sources, browsers, email services and export destinations are operated by third parties under their own terms. A link is provided for reference; we do not control those services or guarantee their content or availability.
Availability and changes
Features may change through updates. We aim to keep the app useful but do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, indefinite support or compatibility with every device. You can stop using the app at any time. Before removing it, export any savings records you want to keep.
Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app and website are provided as available without additional warranties about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or availability. You should verify important records and seek qualified advice for financial or security decisions.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app, inaccurate entries, unavailable third-party services or loss of local records. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, or restricts mandatory consumer rights.
Updates to these terms
We may revise these terms when the app, website or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies this version. Mandatory local law and consumer protections continue to apply.
